Nurse

Summary

The Nurse is a member of a cross-disciplinary team that includes health care providers, medical assistants, nurses, behavioral health and other support staff. S/He/They supports the mission and values of Maple City Health Care Center (MCHCC) by collaborating with team members to facilitate appropriate care of patients and working with patients to engage motivation for change.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of a cross-disciplinary care team to address the medical/health concerns of patients
• Bring his/her training and expertise to bear in providing integrated approaches to patient care.
• Provide support for patients as appropriate, using motivational engagement to support health changes and long-term relationships.
• Work in partnership with other team nurses to address and improve coordination issues of team.

Job Requirements

• Nursing degree; BSN preferred
• State of Indiana licensure, Registered Nurse preferred
• Basic Life Support Certification
  
• Trauma Informed Care approach preferred
• Motivational Interviewing training preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Accountability

The Nurse is supervised by the site Nurse Lead with administrative oversight by the site Clinical Care Coordinator. Details of review processes are outlined in the employment agreement and in the Employee Handbook.

Salary Range and Benefits

Salary is determined according to the Employee Salary and Wage Protocol, based on a range of factors including education, experience, responsibility, and language proficiency. S/He/They will receive comprehensive employee benefits package, based on FTE.
